The Model S is reminiscent of small body vintage guitars. Luthier Ciaran McNally reconstructed the 14-fret 00 body with his Celtic style voicing. The numeric convention stands for Back&Sides and Top wood combo, "12" features Honduran Mahogany /Sitka Spruce. This compact-sized guitar got a warm and complex Celtic tone mixed with a clean and fundamental Vintage characteristic plus dry and focused mid. We found it is well suited for fingerpicking and flat-picking. We chose the Jet Black Ebony as the accents. The gold Schaller machine heads with ebony knobs look very classy. McNally will be a great choice if you seek a very balanced luthier guitar with an affordable price range.
